The Center for Latin American Economics (CLAE) is a research institute attached to the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas Research Department. CLAE focuses its research efforts on issues of particular concern in Latin America—not only in the core central bank areas of monetary, macroeconomic, foreign exchange, banking and fiscal issues but also across a spectrum of applied and theoretical concerns.

Hispanic American Center for Economic Research

The Hispanic American Center for Economic Research is a 501(c)(3) organization that is supported entirely through gifts from individuals, philanthropic foundations, and corporations. Its goal is to promote the study of issues pertinent to the countries of Hispanic America as well as Hispanic Americans living in the United States, especially as they relate to the values of personal and economic liberty, limited government under the rule of law, and individual responsibility. HACER does this by both generating and supporting independent research. There are recent articles and Market Oriented Institutes Web sites to search.
