larger Protestant denominations in the US. Its roots go back to the
Reformation of the 16th century. Many of the beliefs were first

branch of the Baptist Church in America and is the largest Protestant
denomination in the country. The site has an excellent introduction to the

Unitarian Universalist

The association was
formed by a merger of the American Unitarian Association with the
Universalist Church of America. The individual congregations have to
particular creed and vary widely in their beliefs, practices and worship
services. They do believe that religion should affirm “the inherent worth
